A lilliputian useless trivia: The simple notwithstanding memorable line, "You rang?" was ad-libbed by Ted Cassidy. Considering the character never spoke in any of Charles Addams' cartoons, the bear witness's producers intended Lurch to be mute. Cassidy took it upon himself to utter the line during filming of the first episode, and the response from the studio audience was then favorable that they gave him some dialogue.

I always favored The Munsters over The Addams Family . I gauge that was because I was then young watching those shows that I really didn't get a lot of the more cognitive humor of The Addams Family unit. The Munsters were a lot more on a kid's level. Watching them as an adult, I do get the Addams Family unit humour a lot more than, but still the seed of preferring The Munsters was planted long ago.

I ever favored The Munsters over The Addams Family . I guess that was because I was so immature watching those shows that I really didn't get a lot of the more cerebral humor of The Addams Family. The Munsters were a lot more on a kid's level. Watching them equally an adult, I practice get the Addams Family humor a lot more, but withal the seed of preferring The Munsters was planted long ago.
I similar both shows, merely was always more of an Addams Family fan--even as a kid I appreciated the baroque humor and wild characters more.
Without question, Mary Ann over Ginger, and Morticia over Lily! :eyebrows:

While I like both shows, I do adopt the Munsters.
Especially the Paul Lynde episodes.

Leaves are starting to autumn a bit, and the temps are having their one concluding "warm" gasp.
Information technology'southward coming, dern it.

Oh No man....Herman was 1 lucky so and then...How that big goof landed her I'll never effigy out.
Yvonne De Carlo was gorgeous, no doubt about it. And if Herman and Lily had been allowed to show their amore for each other the way Gomez and Morticia did, this would probably exist a very different discussion. Merely, all things beingness what they are, Gomez and Morticia come across equally perpetual newlyweds, while Herman and Lily come up beyond as an old married couple who have seen besides many years together. Of course, that'due south just my opinion; I could be wrong. lol
